God is With Us

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you

One sure thing we know is God is Good. As you know from
our last entry, we had mentioned that around this time last
year, we had suffered through a difficult financial period not
know if our ministry would survive the fiscal year. We rely
financially on teams sent here from all over the United States.
We want to thank the Lord for his provision and mercy. We
are now at 100% for this year. Praise the Lord! We love to

thank everyone who prayed for us andask to keep praying for Lord to continue His ministry here in El Salvador.

Teams have came & gone

They have left a lasting impression with our communities. That includes our two local C&MA churches, opportunities

like visiting church members to encourage other family members to attend or even opening the door for the Gospel. Especially our after school; La Fuente ministry/soccer program. A huge thank you to each team member that took a moment to learn a child’s name or sat down with them to learn more about what it means to shown love to those who need it the most.

We had an amazing run of (12) team to round out our summer. We are looking forward to all the teams that have built relationships here and have plans to return to continue building those relationships. We are also excited with a six team members that expressed interest in coming back as interns. While we are on the subject; we currently have one resident: Laura, who is on a two year stay. We also have an incredibly tremendously intern named Tou. Both are working very hard learning the sacrifice of the Missionary lifestyle and in their own way accepted the call to one day become long term missionaries. We are also very excited for our newest resident  Anjoleena. Anjoleena will be arriving in November. She is planning on a 2 year residency. We ask that you would pray for Anjoleena. For her travel, finances and smooth transition to the culture and our staff. In addition, we are also waiting on another resident Andrea. She is currently fundraising. Pray that for her and her funding as she prepares for a two year residency. We would love Andrea to arrive in January. If you like more information about praying or even help funding interns or residents. Please contact the Lor Xiong at XiongL@cmalliance.org or Kevin Cabrera at envisionwired@gmail.com.

The last team we had this season helped to renew the Wired Store. The income we generate through the store helps with salvadorean staff salaries.

Next steps

Tony and Kevin are going on another American tour. They will be visiting partner churches and sharing what the Lord is doing here at Wired. They will also be sharing the future goals. Goals like the acquisition of the intern house. We are currently renting the intern house where Laura is also living. The home is about 200 yards from Wired. If possible, we would love to find partners to help financially. Like we mentioned, Tony and Kevin are doing an American tour visiting our church family. Tony will begin the tour and Kevin will join him later in the tour. We ask if you're in the area and like to meet with Tony & Kevin, please come join us. La Fuente

La Fuente is one of our ministry that is relentless to out growing our small vision. With the addition of the boys soccer team in April and the girls flag football team in July, La Fuente in on track to multiplying its number of kids. The number stands at 35 and will soon become 50 by next years time. In May of 2015, we began with 15 kids and are on track to triple our numbers. We are witnessing the true power of the Gospel. Because of our growth, we have been carefully planning our next steps. Our new goal is to move out of the school and into the community. We have been searching for a place in the community in proximity of the school to establish as the La Fuente Community Center. There are legal and special permits that we need to acquire as well as finding a prime location for our community center. Lastly, this expansion does not come at a discounted price. The funds necessary can be steep. We would like for those who believe in this ministry to pray. Pray all these things we mentioned and more.

Prayer Request

  1. We’d like prayers Thanking the Lord for his perversion us and our families.
  2. Funding for our intern house. The expansion of His ministry here.
  3. Our children from La Fuente. That the Lord continually breaking through to their hearts. Also for the move into the community with location, legal, permits and expense that goes along.
  4. Wisdom & Vision to constantly see ministry opportunities and resources to build His Kingdom.
  5. Tony & Kevin’s tour

With the amazing Grace of our Lord Jesus,
