GREAT NEWS!

We are very glad to communicate this week that God has been doing amazing things at our site.  So, here we go:

  1. Kevin Cabrera (Wired Director), got his visa! It is not easy to get a visa to go to the USA from El Salvador, but God (in his will) allowed Kevin to get this important document that will allow him to visit the States (Lord Willing) for the Life Conference this year and for him to be able to come and promote our Envision Site in the States as well.
  2. As we shared with you last week, the principal of the public school where we run our after school program La Fuente, invited Kevin Cabrera for a meeting with the parents committee and (long story short) 52 kids were enrolled at our program for 2016, that is almost 3 times as many kids that attended the program at the end of last year. Glory to God!
  3. We already signed our first official partnership for 4 years with Gospel Alliance Church in PA, that means a lot to us. We are very thankful to God for this.
  4. Youth football outreach ministry is growing and there is around 15 kids already involved in it. It’s a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these kids who are at risk.
  5. With the intention of exposing more people to the light of Jesus, we would like to let you know that we have started the prayer phase for our new outreach program called “Diaspora”, which means a displaced people. This ministry targets the returning Salvadorans from the USA.  As you know, God has burdened us with this group of people. Our plan is to be reaching out to these folks at the very moment of their arrival to El Salvador.  Ministering to them in different ways and inviting them to Hungry Church.

Some things to pray for:

  1. Pray that God will bring clarity in everything related to this new program Diaspora (resources, people, etc.) Please pray that God will open doors for us to have easy access to these people and for God to send the needed workers to this harvest field.
  2. Pray that God will work the rest of the partnerships (with US churches) we need to make the ministry more effective here in El Salvador.
  3. Since all of our outreach programs are growing fast, we need interns and residents to come and work with us. Pray that God will bring the people he wants to come and work along side us. “…The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few…”  Matthew 9:37-38
  4. Please do not stop praying for God to provide the necessary resources for us to be able to buy the interns house next door, it is a great need.

Below is an image that details the structure of our ministry.  For our visual learners, this gives you a visual aid of how our ministries are divided.  Please pray for these ministries as God leads you.

  1. Thanks for posting specific prayer requests, and I like how you posted the structure of Envision. I'm a visual learner. 😀 I pray for all of you every day.
