Surprise!  December is a month full of Americano Futbol.  The Santa Tecla Jaguares played their last game and had a winning season.  Football has come so far that the last game actually had yard lines and goal posts.  

On Friday, December 4, the Big Blue National men's tackle team and the Liberty Hawks National women's flag team traveled to Honduras for a tournament that includes countries of Central America and northern South America.  They will return tomorrow night.  Please pray for safety.

The Americano Futbol league is a tool we use to build relationships.  Out of these relationships we have consistent Bible studies and discipleship programs.  Please pray that these relationships are strengthened and for God to use us according to His will.

On Friday, December 4, we also said "See You Later" to Shaina, one of our interns.  Shaina and Kevin started an after school program which they named La Fuente (the fountain).  Shaina fell in love with these kids.  She will be missing the kids and they will be missing her.  Please pray for her as she transitions into a new stage of her life.  Also, please pray for Kevin as he continues to minister in this ministry and for the kids that they will continue to participate in the program.

Our new(Correction-it is not an Envision program, We are partnering with CDA) CDA Church has started a new after school program called El Refugio (the refuge), which comes from the Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."  The vision for this program is that it will be a safe, fun place for the kids in the same neighborhood as CDA Church and Envision Wired El Salvador to come where they feel welcome, loved, and completely accepted.  Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ through our interactions and provide practical help with homework, English classes and tutoring.
