Hello Again!

I hope all of you are doing all right and you are experiencing God’s blessings in abundance.

I just want to take the time to say thanks for your prayers and your support to our ministry and share some updates with you.

Our after school program, La Fuente, is going very well. Those that are sharing the Bible studies with the students tell us that the students are getting very interested and are asking good and deep questions that allow our staff not only to answer but to teach from the scripture and share with the kids what the Bible says about those matters. We are so excited and encouraged by hearing these stories.

Kids' Church

Hungry Church had its second service last Saturday. The sermon was based on the relationship that God has with us in different ways. Many friends showed up and some of them expressed their desire to have a better relationship with God and are looking forward to participating in the upcoming Bible studies to discover more from God.  That’s great news!

We said farewell to Patty Barnett (our former HR director and Site Associate) last Tuesday.  She’s settling back in the states and left very encouraged to still keep in touch with the ministry here and to help in any way possible.

One of our goals for the future is to become self-sustainable by operating businesses. One business is Envision Coffee.  We mainly export it to the US (www.envisioncoffee.org) but now we are working towards selling Envision Coffee in El Salvador.  So lately we’ve been marketing our coffee here and there are some potential customers interested in buying coffee from us.  Praise God that he is raising interest in people to buy our coffee here in country.

Some prayer requests:

1  For God to provide the short-term mission groups we need for the rest of the year, we have lots of opportunities for trips during the fall and late spring.

2  Keep praying that God will open the right doors and provide the resources for us to buy the interns house next door.

3  Pray that God will help Patty’s transition to settle back in the states is smooth.

4  Help us pray that God will close those deals with the potential customers of Envision Coffee in El Salvador.

5  Pray for La Fuente, that God allows this program to be a game changer not only in the lives of the kids but also in their families.
