WHAT IS THE BROKEN MINISTRY?
Well, let me tell you:
Broken consists of broken people who rescue broken
people so that they can become rescuers of broken people. It
ministers to the needs of individuals but seeks to further
reach the people as a whole. Like Abraham who dreamed for
a son and received a nation, so also Broken dreams of
reaching a nation one person at a time. We believe the Lord
has the power to accomplish the impossible. It is our desire
to minister to the needs of these people and after they have
reached a place of health and wholeness in the Lord, send
them back into the communities of El Salvador to minister by
spreading the hope of the gospel to their families, friends
and neighbors.
La Fuente, reaches out to kids in grades 6th through 9th who are vulnerable to the allure of gangs. School typically finishes at 11:45 am, leaving these kids on their own for the afternoon while their parents are at work. We were approached by the Principal of the school about offering an activity for these kids to keep them off the streets. Cooking, English, games and small groups are on the agenda each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
Funds for these ministries come directly from Envision Coffee. For more information and updates, please “Like” the “Envision Wired” page on Facebook or go to www.envisioncoffee.org to purchase your coffee and invest in what God is doing here in El Salvador. We appreciate your generous support.
